"Video content provider PureVideo, which runs the GrindTV.com and StupidVideos.com sites, will test an ad-supported model for its mobile content, which had previously been available only to paid subscribers. Nintendo signed on as the first advertiser via its media buying agency, Starcom USA.

Through Starcom, Nintendo placed a seven week buy to promote its Mario Kart DS game for the handheld DS system. A :05 pre-roll ad shows game play with a "sponsored by" message. A :15 bookend containing a full commercial runs after the video. "
