The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is creating a new Emmy award category for original video that appears online, cell phones, iPods and other devices. To qualify, the content can't air on TV. Kudos to the NATAS folks, but it'll be interesting to see if they focus on Hollywood-generated content (like Fox's 24 mobisode) at the expense of "non-traditional" productions (like Rocketboom.)
