spartanlifehost.jpgNow that’s my kind of “Crossfire”: This Spartan Life is a “talk show” that takes place in net-connected Xboxes running Halo. It’s the thinking man’s Red vs. Blue, with brainy guests like artist and filmmaker Peggy Ahwesh and interactive guru Bob Stein. The best part, aside from watching guests get shot at, is the occasional dance routines involving the “Solid Gold Elite Dancers” and the Game Boy-produced soundtrack. The 8-bit music from Bitshifter, Bubblyfish, Nullsleep and Glomag represents some of the best virtuostic chiptune music. So far, there’s only one episode up, but it’s worth checking out for the beepilicious Nintendo tunes.
