In this session, I raised a question that's been nagging at me: Can simple first-person accounts of newsworthy events that involve no additional reporting work or perspectives be considered journalism?
This is an issue I've struggled with since the London bombings, and I'm not sure how to answer it. I realize that professional journalists are very likely to believe that first-person accounts are not acts of journalism, but I ask my journalism (...)
