CED Magazine explores how most of the major cable providers are toying with video-mail as an "on-ramp" to full video communications. Comcast launched their video-mail last summer, and offered a free webcam to entice their users. Since Beta, our users haven't been particularly impressed; most webcams already come with e-mail video-software. Full VoIP with priority packet video? Now that might turn heads.
