Do-It-Yourself Television
interesting concept in creating a low tech tv "station"

You left out the key excerpt:

" A DIYTV is a working television station that you can make all by yourself, at little or no cost. By "station", I mean stationary -- not a studio that broadcasts signals over airwaves, but rather, a kiosk that screens slideshows of still images."

So by television station they mean a computer monitor in a trash can (or newspaper kiosk) running a slide show. Oh. I guess I can start my own DIYRS (do it yourself rocketship) project which isn't really a RocketShip, but an old bike with streamers on the handlebars and an exhaust manifold duct taped to the rear.

Is there anywhere I can find info on starting a television station on the net? Streaming media etc.
