Where will all the videoblogs go??

Rob in Wales asked a good question: "An issue that has just been raised is the question of storage - it's going to be impossible to store every single vblog on my webspace. Plus if we're going to archive everything for future generations, replacing files isn't really going to work. ¬ÝHow do you get around this?"

Our group has just started videoblogging since May of 2004. If I videoblog for 10+ years, Ill have gigs of videos. Where will they all go? How safe will they be on the web? Will (ISPs) have an obligation to store them even if they go out of business? Isn't this what we want: to create a permanent world online for the future to see? I don't have an answer to this. Maybe storage will keep up with us.

Google offers 1GB mail.

Maybe 100GB storage will not be uncommon in the near future.

I hope so.
