Jay Rosen, one of the founders of the Public Journalism movement, is now pushing one of journalism's most radical experiments with his Newassignment.net's first experimental project. The topic, crowdsourcing, has, indeed, drawn a crowd. Some 700 people have signed up, and in this Leonard Witt IM Interview Rosen tells how he and his crew are trying to assemble the crowd into a working unit. If all works well, it will become a feature in Wired Magazine...
